The Women’s eCommerce Association, International is pleased to present our newest online event – 1st Fridayz™ - Web 2.0 Networking for Women.

1st Fridayz™ is a three-tiered platform (using email/teleconferencing/webconferencing) networking event that takes place the 1st Friday of every month. This 36-hour event has become a popular “hangout” for women who want to learn more doing MORE business on and off the web using Web 2.0 tools and resources. In addition to the informational/educational component, networking is at the core of 1st Fridayz™ success.

The event begins at 6 AM Eastern Time on the First Friday of every month and goes until 6 PM Eastern Time on Saturday (the next day). 1st Fridayz™ networking events allow participants to get to know more about the products and services each offers, by participating in “showcases” of their online ventures. In addition, the Women’s eCommerce Association invites guest experts to talk about a variety of topics relative to Web 2.0 including blogging, social networking, web conferencing, podcasting, video creation and search engine marketing; topics of great interest to women business owners, professionals and executives today. The single most valuable benefit of participating in an event like this may well be the incredible network of like-minded business women who understand where you're coming from. When you have a challenge or concern, you can connect with other members of the WECAI Network™ and find valuable feedback and suggestions for overcoming those challenges. Our 1st Fridayz™ events are designed to be a rich mix of conversations, one-on-one interviews, and panel discussions. Our mission is to “help women do MORE business on and off the WEB.” Some of the topics we cover are centered around blogging for business, podcasting for profit, creating your own internet radio show, finding the social networking sites that have the benefits you need, creating videos to promote your business, the latest in search engine marketing, getting publicity online, future trends … and more!

In fact, members of our Global Network (members, guests of members and women’s organizations) are invited to attend at no charge and participate in these discussions. Members are welcome to invite women in your circle to attend and introduce her to our network.
