Call for Presentations

The Women’s ECommerce Association, International is accepting Proposals for seminars and workshops to be presented during our 1st World Congress taking place on the beautiful island of São Miguel in the Azores from 7-9 June 2006. We invite you to submit a proposal to share your knowledge and expertise with our attendees. Our theme for the 1st World Congress is “Women and ECommerce, Connecting, Inspiring & Thriving Beyond 2006.”

WECAI is looking for a variety of topic areas from experts around the globe. If you are interested in becoming a speaker, we would love to hear from you. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect, inspire, and learn from other professional women and men around the world.

As a speaker you will receive:

• Reduced Registration Fee to attend the Congress
• Recognition in Congress Promotional Materials
• Participation in the Exhibition
• Admission to all Meal Functions
• Admission to Welcome Reception, Evening Gala & Cultural Programme
• Recognition in Congress Souvenir Journal
• Recognition on the WECAI website
• All other Congress materials

Requirements:

In order to be considered as a speaker, a completed speaker proposal package must be received by 20 March 2006 . Submit your proposal to Heidi@wecai.org or fax to 1-954-964-3135.

**Please note the deadline date change to 20 March 2006**

Please include the following in your proposal:

1. A biography (not to exceed 100 words). A digital photograph (high resolution - 300 dpi or better). Photograph will be used in souvenir journal and on our website.
2. Completed Call for Presentations application forms.

The following will be due no later than 7 April 2006:

1. A copy of your final presentation sent via e-mail to Heidi@wecai.org. Microsoft PowerPoint, PDF, or Microsoft Word format acceptable.
2. Completed Congress Registration.

Additionally:

Copies of any handouts, video/audio tapes or other necessary materials to be used in your seminar must be shipped to the Congress Venue no later than 15 April 2006.

We are striving for excellence. All presentations will be chosen based on quality of the presentation and qualifications of the presenter. While we cannot pay presenters, being chosen as a presenter gives you increased credibility as an expert in your field and exposure to a network of possibilities. In addition, you will receive publicity through our collateral material, on our website and in the Souvenir Journal for the Congress. Email Heidi@wecai.org with any questions you may have.
