We are looking for programs that coincide with the theme of the Congress; Women and ECommerce -Connecting, Inspiring &Thriving Beyond 2005 and are centered around the following five areas:
- Connecting and Networking with Women Around the Globe
- The World of ECommerce – Business without Borders
- Sharing Stories & Strategies for Online Success
- Communicating Through Creativity and Diversity
- Facilitating Leadership Roundtables and Discussion Groups

What is the rate for speakers? |
|
The rate for speakers is $250 which covers full conference registration (most meals are included – such as the Gala dinner (September 20) and opening cocktail reception (September 19), as well as breakfast and lunch Tuesday and Wednesday.

Does this include hotel and airfare? |
|
Hotel and airfare are not included in the price of registration. However, speakers can book the accommodations and airfare through WECAI at a special Congress rate.

How many attendees do you expect? |
|
We are expecting 250-350 women. Since it is our FIRST World Conference, it is hard to say exactly how many you will be presenting to. We estimate 50+ per session. However, there could be more.

How many sessions will be going on at the same time? |
|
Provided registration does not exceed 350 (of course we would be delighted to have more than that and could easily accommodate them) we are anticipating having 3 concurrent sessions going on at any one time, so your audience size could be as many as 100. We will also have a resource store so if you have books and tapes to sell, as a presenter you would be invited to sell them.

What type of promotion are you doing for the Congress? |
|
We are already doing promotion and media releases for the event. Our current media list consists of 1,500+ media professionals (and growing daily) representing print, TV, radio and Internet (about half of whom are US, CANADA and the rest International). We will also create a press release shell for each presenter to customize and send to her/his media contacts as well. As we get closer to the event, we will be contacting the media on a weekly basis. We are also promoting the event though our World Class Alliance Partners through their distribution lists (newsletters) and website.

Is the presenter allowed to tape her/his session? |
|
Yes, audio and video tapings are allowed at the presenter’s expense.

If I want to bring my spouse/partner, what is the cost? |
|
Spouses may attend at a reduced rate - of $200 - for meals only - includes the Gala dinner. If they wish to attend full conference, the cost is the same as the presenter ($250) – see above.

What else will the speaker receive? |
|
In addition to promotion of speakers in all our pre and post media, and listing in the Congress programme, speakers will receive a Charter Elite Membership in WECAI.org as a special thank you for giving you time, talent and treasure.

Are speakers paid for their presentations? |
|
Unfortunately, we have no budget for speakers. Some of the speakers who have agreed to present are getting sponsors to cover their expenses. They win, we win and the sponsor gets recognition.
