1. What motivated you to establish a web presence? Having a web presence is the quickest and least expensive way of 'making one's presence felt' on web as well as in reality. I am motivated by its 24/7 presence around the globe.
2. What is the overall goal or mission of your website(s)? My website is still at its infancy stage. There are still many areas I would like to work on. Primarily, the website serves as a 'flyer' for people to reach me.
3. From where do you draw inspiration? I draw inspiration from other websites that provide etiquette and image services. I keep myself very current within the industry. I also know many players in these fields through my professional association in US.
4. How do you market your site(s)? Adding my site to free search engines helps. I also contribute articles to a few internet portals hence gaining publicity.
5. If you had it to do over, what would you change about your website? There are many things I would like to do over for betterment. What I have on my site now is a direct transfer from a previous site which I have stopped hosting. I would like to include an e-zine and some affiliate partners.
6. What are some of the trends you are noticing in your industry? I notice, in US, businesses are done in very amicable setting where they mutually help promote each other, even competitively! Hence, I see much collaboration among them. Whereas in Malaysia, people are 'competitive'.
7. If you could only offer one piece of advice about promoting your business on the Web to our readers, what would that be? Collaborate with association or publication where your targeted audiences are, and contribute articles to gain publicity for your businesses.
8. Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers? Web presence is a must. For a start, one might want to consider using the service of free sites.
9. What is the one thing you would like readers to know about you? About your company? Presently, I live in Malaysia and regularly travel extensively worldwide. I've been to 41 countries and that's how I developed keen interest in global etiquette and cultures. Finesse Savvy has plans to expand its presence overseas, especially in the US.
10. What is your website URL? www.finessesavvy.com
