President, NAFE

Betty Spence became President of The National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) in 2001. From 1994-1999 at Catalyst, a non-profit committed to the advancement of women, Spence served as VP of communications and publications. She wrote Be Your Own Mentor (2001), a book on propelling your own advancement. In addition, she crafted speeches for the president and oversaw the editing and publication of two other books, Advancing Women in Business: Best Practices from the Corporate Leaders (1998) and Creating Women's Networks (1999). Spence cut her PR teeth at Hill and Knowlton in media relations, speech writing, and crisis counseling. Her career also included a stint at Chief Executive magazine and work as a contributing writer to the Los Angeles Times and The Christian Science Monitor. She holds a Ph.D. in English literature and honed her writing skills teaching literature, writing, and film studies at college and high school levels.


Heidi Richards, MS
President, WECAI

Heidi Richards, MS, CLL, CPPM, CHL, CTHR, CHT has a very eclectic educational background. She is the author of eight books including, “The PMS Principles, Powerful Marketing Strategies to Grow Your Business,” Romance on a Budget – 199 Cheap Thrills, Romantic Antics and Love Changing Experiences, “Yes,” is only the Beginning ,and What’s Your OccuPLAYtion™? Ms. Richards has spoken in Europe, Africa and North and South America addressing topics of leadership, relationships, stress and life balance. In 2004 and 2005 she was the South Florida Profile Editor for Balance Magazine in addition to writing and contributes articles to dozens of magazines both in the United States and Europe. In addition, Heidi is the Owner of Eden Florist and Gift Baskets in Miramar, FL and Founder & Chief Visionary for the Women’s eChamber of Commerce Int'l (aka the Women's ECommerce Association Int'l). She has been recognized by the South Florida Business Journal as Business Woman of the Year, Top Ten Business Woman of the Year by the American Business Women’s Association, The Sam Edwards Award for Speaking, Women in Business South Florida Advocate of the Year by the SBA and in 2004 was inducted into the Broward County Women’s Hall of Fame.
Jennifer De Vries, CPT

Jennifer has over 15 years of experience directing successful, award-winning and profitable training technologies programs. Most recently, Jennifer was Executive Director of E-Learning at Joint Commission Resources. She was responsible profit and loss of their eTools, Communities of Practice, eBooks and Web-Based Training product lines. Jennifer has a B.A. in Business Administration and Cognitive Psychology from Hope College, as well as an M.A. in Instructional and Training Technology from Governors State University. Based on her work in the field of Performance Technology, Jennifer is designated as a Certified Performance Technologist (CPT) by the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI).

Susan Solovic, esq.
SBTV® - “Small Business Television Network”
Susan Wilson Solovic is CEO and Chairman of SBTV.com – small business television. SBTV is America’s only video news and information source for the small business market on the Internet. Solovic began her professional career as a television news anchor and reporter for NBC and CBS affiliates. Subsequently, she joined a Fortune 100 company where she was named vice president, director of corporate marketing, of an international asset-based lending division. While working in an executive capacity, she attended Saint Louis University Law School and graduated with honors. Her legal background provides her a unique view of American business. Solovic is the author of the popular book, “The Girls’ Guide to Power and Success,” which was originally released in June 2001 and in 2003 was re-released in paperback. The book is also being published in Korea, China and Thailand. She is also the author of “Reinvent Your Career: Attain the Success You Deserve and Desire” which offers motivational and practical advice for those individuals seeking to re-ignite their careers and “Hanging onto the American Dream: A story of Business Leadership and Leaving a Legacy.” For nearly a decade, Solovic taught a women’s entrepreneurial training program at a St.Louis-based college. Recently, she is a featured business expert on Trump University. Solovic is a popular media guest on radio and television programs across the country including ABC World News This Morning (ABC Network), CNN, Bloomberg, Early Today, Good Day New York and she is frequently quoted as a career expert in “Cosmopolitan” magazine.

A radio/television talk host, newspaper columnist, speaker and coach, she has overcome tremendous obstacles to become self-actualized, healthy and productive. In her career she has interviewed Deepak Chopra, Gloria Steinem, Caroline Myss, Wayne Dyer, Suze Orman, John Gray, Neale Donald Walsch as well as real people like you and me!

Lorraine Cohen, Author Fearless Keys to Turning Mountains into Molehills
Lorraine Cohen brings more than 25 years experience in personal and business coaching, psychological counseling, and sales experience to her clients. Her deep compassion and coaching excellence has assisted more than 1500 small business owners, entrepreneurs, and executives from a wide range of industries. Lorraine's intuition and counseling background heighten her ability to get to the heart of the matter quickly, helping clients to live their life in alignment with their core values and spiritual heart. She has several professional certifications including CoachU, training in DiSC behavioral assessments, and Psych-K™, a process for creating internal shifts leading to outward change.
