Susan Wald Berkman has taken a leadership role for over 20 years in targeted, in-depth research. Her high level of expertise and extensive experience in developing strategic research plans has helped advance and achieve the marketing and sales objectives of corporate and private clients. Using free and fee-based content databases, as well as other industry and trade resources, she is able to provide actionable information to meet clients’ needs. As CEO of Research-Ability , she has supervised and managed many diverse projects, including industry profiles, company reports, content for websites and presentations, fact-checking and more. Susan communicates bi-weekly with her clients/prospects with an e-newsletter highlighting innovative ways companies are using various marketing channels.
Prior to launching her business, she was the Research Services Director for Progressive Impressions International, (formerly First Marketing), a Taylor Corporation subsidiary, where her department was successful in providing information which resulted in millions of dollars of revenue for the company. She worked a solo librarian for a pharmaceutical company as well.
Susan earned a Master’s degree in Library Science from Rutgers University and serves on the Boards of the Association of Independent information Professionals, Special Library Association (Chair of the Division of Advertising and Marketing), the Florida Direct Marketing Association and the Corporate Advisory Board for EBSCO Publishing’s Business Source Corporate.
With a strong commitment to serving and supporting her local community, Susan is involved in a number of charitable events and activities including volunteering and sponsoring DECA students at J.P. Taravella High School.
