The concept for Women in Ecommerce was born when she attended a Technology Conference and Trade Show hosted by the Broward County School System in 2001. Inspired by the passion of several other attendees and realizing the need for an organization that would be the center for women to learn all they could about ecommerce, Heidi started creating the Master Plan for this resource and membership site. She is a frequent presenter at Conferences in North America, and has spoken in South America, Africa and Europe on topics such as marketing, leadership and human resources.

Heidi has three daughters (one deceased), five grandchildren and a wonderful and loving husband.
