Raising Money for a Cause – Women in Ecommerce™ Hosts Second-Annual Experts Auction
to Benefit Pace Center for Girls Broward
Fort Lauderdale, FL (April 25, 2013) — The Florida Chapter of Women in Ecommerce™ announces that they have selected Pace Center for Girls Broward as the chosen non-profit for our second-annual Golden Mouse Awards Ceremony and Celebrity Experts Auction taking place in early October, 2013.
Ellen Sue Burton and Rosana Santos Calambichis, Co-Chairs of this year’s event expressed their pleasure at this year’s chosen nonprofit. According to Rosana, “We are delighted to support Pace Center for Girls of Broward. We believe in their Mission, “to provide girls and young women an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling, training and advocacy. Ellen replied with “We want to help them continue to do the great work they do to change the lives of the future leaders of our community.”

The Golden Mouse Honorees, the board of advisors and the members of Women in Ecommerce are great role models for the young women who take part in our programs,” says Aggie, Pappas, Executive Director of PACE.

In additon to helping raise much-needed funds for PACE Center for Girls, The second-annual Fundraiser and Awards Ceremony will honor 15 local women in South Florida with the GOLDEN MOUSE AWARD who are actively involved in their the community, their industry, where their responsibilities include managing/overseeing an internet presence and they have been working in their chosen profession for at least two years. 150 people in the tri-county area attended the first-annual event and we expect at least 200 will participate this year. The event will take place in Fort Lauderdale.
