Venue Chosen for First Annual Celebrity Experts Auction & Golden Mouse Awards!
Fort Lauderdale, FL (April 20, 2012)— The Florida Chapter of Women in Ecommerce™ is pleased to announce the Bahia Mar Resort and Yachting Center in Fort Lauderdale as our Venue for the First-Annual Celebrity Experts Auction and Golden Mouse Awards Ceremony taking place on September 27, 2012.
According to Heidi Richards Mooney, Women in Ecommerce™ Founder and Event Chair, “This event is our first foray into an evening gala fundraiser. We had to be conservative about our choice of venues in terms of what we felt our audience would support. It had to be classy and showcase the beauty of our area in a way that it would make people think, ‘I cannot miss this event!’ The venue had to accommodate at least 150 people, room for a red carpet and celebrity backdrop for pictures of our guests, room for our Celebrity Experts Auction items, a cocktail reception and our much-anticipated After Party. Situated on the Intracoastal Waterway, the view is fantastic, the food is superior to that of your typical banquet food and the staff is a delight to work with.”
