Women in Ecommerce™ has a network of organizations that caters to women and women’s issues, business and social concerns and needs. This network of associations represents diverse groups and nations whose missions are to advance common interests and causes – in our case to support the efforts of women worldwide. By forming this network our respective organizations can gain access to new technology, knowledge and resources, enabling us to develop combined solutions to shared problems, access markets we would not otherwise have access to and increase our spheres of influence. These organizations understand the value of cultivating world-class networks.
This week we are highlighting three organizations listed in our “network.” They are:
BlogHer  – Since 2005, BlogHer’s mission has been “to create opportunities for women who blog to gain exposure, education, community and economic empowerment.” BlogHer facilitates a community that empowers our members and creates value for all. This mission is the driving force behind a community that now reaches more than 20 million* people each month via BlogHer conferences and events, the BlogHer.Com news service and the BlogHer Publishing Network of more than 2,500 blogs. BlogHer brings writers and readers together, online and in-person, in an environment of trust.
Canadian Association of Women Executives & Entrepreneurs  – Since 1976 The Canadian Association of Women Executives and Entrepreneurs (CAWEE) has been connecting Canadian businesswomen. Based in Toronto, Ontario, CAWEE is considered one of Canada’s most respected networking organizations, representing professionals from a broad range of disciplines, markets and perspectives. CAWEE offers many opportunities to network and connect with other professional women.
American Business Women’s Association  – Brings together businesswomen of diverse occupations to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership; education, networking support and national recognition. The Association celebrated 60 years at the 2009 ABWA National Women’s Leadership Conference last September at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center in Kansas City.
