Nominations Open for Women in Ecommerce™ Second-Annual Golden Mouse Awards 2013
Fort Lauderdale, FL (March 10, 2013)— Women in Ecommerce™ is now accepting nominations for the 2013 Golden Mouse Awards for Women who live and work in South Florida (Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Monroe Counties) and who successfully use the web/technology in business and in life.
Heidi Richards Mooney, Founder of Women in Ecommerce™ and Event Chair says, “The Florida Chapter is delighted to bring this event to our community and to honor local women for their work on the WEB. In addition to raising awareness of the great work Women in Ecommerce does to empower women with the tools, skills and resources to create a thriving online business, the Auction will raise much needed-monies for a local charity. We are not necessarily looking for women who are well-known in South Florida (yet), we want to honor women who are well-known and highly regarded in their companies and industries in which they work. Their experience and contributions to their professions and their communities are the qualities that will make nominees perfect candidates to be recognized at our signature event, The Golden Mouse Awards.Nomination letters have gone out, and we have already received more than a dozen responses. We expect to have several more from which to choose before the deadline arrives.”
