Meet Linda Stein, Lifetime Member, Longtime Supporter and Installing Dignitary for our First Annual Installation of Officers & Advisors on January 24, 2013 during our bi-monthly meeting .
Linda Stein has been described as inspiring, insightful, spellbinding, and compelling (with nice hair). She is a radio/television talk host, newspaper columnist, speaker and coach as well as accomplished businesswoman.
Linda started her broadcast career in 1993 with a feeling that women as a group were not being served on talk radio. (Programmers always felt women spend more time with music radio as if that’s what we do when we get together, we listen to music…NOT. WE TALK!!!) So she developed her first program, LiveTalk with Linda airing daily on Miami’s talk station WSBH where she had access to extraordinary interviews with Deepak Chopra, Caroline Myss, Gloria Steinem,Wayne Dyer, Suze Orman, John Gray, Neale Donald Walsch and many others.
In ‘97 she created Getting Personal about life, love and plastic surgery (HA!) from this female’s perspective. Getting Personal started as a 90-second radio feature and evolved into a long-form radio talk show, a weekly newspaper column and a television program.
Currently, she is half of Santory and Stein (Where nothing’s sacred, we talk about it all) Monday evenings on 1470AM and AMP2.TV. Her voice can be heard in commercials and endorsements on Big Talk WFTL 850 and she will be hosting/producing another show called Happy Hour On-Air, debuting soon.
