Farzanah is a member of the KPMG Policy Board, the Highest decision Making body of KPMG South Africa.
Farzanah Mall qualified as a chartered accountant in 2002 and is currently a Director at KPMG with extensive experience in providing business advisory consulting services, including risk consulting, strategy and business development to a number of key organisations both locally and internationally.
A sought after specialist, speaker and facilitator for leadership, director/senior management governance workshops, governance advisory services, strategic/operational risk workshops, best practice risk management and she is responsible for managing key internal audit engagements.
Previous experience includes working as a senior risk analyst in the corporate governance division of a large listed company in Melbourne, Australia as well as lecturing postgraduate Managerial Accounting and Finance and Taxation 1.
Other key positions -National President of the Businesswomen’s Association (BWA), which is the largest and most prominent association of business and professional women in South Africa, focussing on providing ongoing opportunities to advance the interests of women in business and other community related projects.
She has participated in a number of public forums on gender diversity, leadership and issues facing women in the workplace. She has successfully hosted mentorship and development programs and hosted round table leadership economic discussions and debates.
She mentors young leaders within KPMG and externally, is passionate about economic growth implementation strategies, youth development and leadership development strategies, including transforming the education sector in South Africa and works with the leadership of a number of Universities and FET colleges.
Farzanah is also a past presenter at the Women of Wisdom Conference and a Platinum Plus Member of Women in Ecommerce.
