Need to download a video from YouTube? Check out the Google Chrome YouTube Video Downloader App available in the Google Chrome Web Store .
Click on the “Official YouTube Downloader: MP3 and Video” which is 5 stars and likely the first app on the page as shown in this video.
Click the blue tab on the right that says Add to Chrome and the app will automatically be added to your YouTube Channel. You must be logged into Google and your YouTube channel in order for the YouTube Video Downloader to be added to your account.
Once it is downloaded, the blue tab will now be green and say “added to chrome“.
Go to your YouTube channel and pull up one of your videos to make sure the tab has been added below your video. You can download your videos in either HD or MP files.
This is a good tool for those videos you shoot and upload directly to YouTube that you may want to later edit.
