WOW! The first thing that comes to mind when I think about the Golden Mouse Awards held last year at the Bahia Mar Hotel in Fort Lauderdale Florida! 13 inspiring women were honored for a variety of reasons, all to do with how they leverage the internet to promote their jobs, professions, business and communities.  In fact, this video slideshow put together by our very own photographer, Dr. Mark Vacker of Mark Vacker Photography says it all:

The Golden Mouse Awards Committee went above and beyond, exceeding my own expectations. Each woman did her job with Grace and Class and took the reins to make sure their part of the event went off without a hitch.  I am deeply indebted to Suzannah Richards, Ellen Sue Burton, Rosana Santos, Cheryl Rubman, Lydia Harris, Charlene Christiano, Danna McDonald, Dee Grohowski, Lauren Perez and Racheli Smilovits.  It was truly an honor to watch the night unfold like a well rehearsed orchestra. And our men in tuxes made the event that much more glamorous. Thanks to Mano Calambichis, Jeff Rubman and Timmy Mooney. Also wanted to say thanks to Steve Sanders of Awesome Awards for the elegant awards he created for our honorees. And to Philip at First Displays for the beautiful backdrop they customized for the Golden Mouse Awards. You will see the backdrop in most of our pictures above and below.

The honorees made it possible to have a room full of cheerleaders as each one invited their family, friends and colleagues to celebrate with them and us. Congratulations to Kerting Baldwin, Susan Berkman, Rosana Santos Calambichis, Sheryl Cattell,  Dale Filhaber, Lynn Griffith, Kandee G,  Ann McNeill, Catherine Minnis, Elizabeth Priore, Julieann Scalisi and Conni Gordon for all you do every day to make a difference in the world!
