She has been invited and has offered numerous media interviews on the subject of career transition and career development in Canada, and has delivered scores of seminars and workshops on a variety of career topics. Daisy is a founding member of Career Professionals of Canada, and as a result of her work supporting the Canadian career industry, she was twice awarded the organization’s highest recognition, Outstanding Canadian Career Leader. She also received the Executive Director’s Award of Excellence recognition in 2014. Daisy is a member of the International Coach Federation, a CTL Associate with Career Thought Leaders and a member of Career Directors International.
Her corporate background includes a stint with the United Nations in New York, an assignment that contributed tremendously to her ability to understand and work with people from a variety of cultures. She is a former instructor in the Faculty of Business at Sheridan College where she taught Business Communication and other courses in the Executive Administration Program. She was appointed by the Mayor of Brampton to be a member of the Blue Ribbon Panel working to get a University to Brampton. She also serves on the Inclusion & Diversity Committee of the City of Brampton.
Daisy has received several awards and recognition, including Outstanding Canadian Career Leader, 2011 Alumni of Distinction from Conestoga College, and was a nominee for a 2011 Zonta Women of Achievement Award. She holds a BA from Ryerson University and a Post-graduate Diploma in Career Development from Conestoga College, and is a Certified Career Management Coach, Certified Executive Leadership Coach and Certified Resume Strategist.
